Peter-Jerome K. Romano son of Hawaii’s Dealer for the People Jerry V, was born prematurely on April 11th, 1995. This led Peter to have many physical and mental disabilities throughout life. Peter was put in the school system through the Department of Education. Throughout the years Jerry had to fight for Peters services knowing that the special Ed program funding was second to the DOE’s regular education program. Sadly the Lord took Peter from us on May 13, 2012 at the age of 17. With the collaboration of the dealership employees, Mr. Vedova and Jerry we created Peters Special Project. A portion of every vehicle sold is accumulated monthly. Windward Auto Sales contacts windward high schools and asks for a wish list of classroom needs and delivers these supplies on a monthly basis.
