For 47 years, Aloha Stadium has stood as Hawaiʻi’s largest outdoor arena, located in the heart of Central Oʻahu. Home to the University of Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warriors football team, the stadium has hosted unforgettable experiences — from high school championships and the NFL Pro Bowl, to legendary concerts by Michael Jackson, U2, Bruno Mars, and countless others.
Beyond sports and music, the stadium has been home to community traditions such as the ever-popular Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace, holiday light shows, fairs, and cultural celebrations.
“This event is for the community to honor all the memories we have over the last 50 years and to celebrate the future of the new Aloha Stadium District!” says developer Stanford Carr.
As the historic facility evolves into the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District (NASED), the spirit of gathering and celebration will continue on a broader stage. Designed as a modern, mixed-use destination, NASED will bring together sports, entertainment, culture, retail, and community spaces that reflect Hawaiʻi’s growth and aspirations. “As we bid aloha to the stadium that shaped so many of our memories, we also welcome an era of renewal. Celebrating Hawai‘i’s Culture. Building Hawai’i’s Future. NASED will honor the past while creating a place for Hawaiʻi’s future — one that is built on community, culture, and shared experience,” says Stadium Authority Chair, Eric Fujimoto.
Concert Producer Raymond Ho Jr. shares: “It is a tremendous honor to produce this historic concert event, one that pays tribute to a place that has been a foundation of Hawaiʻi’s community and culture for nearly five decades.”
“Aloha to Aloha Stadium” is a collaborative production between TMR Events, Aloha Artist Foundation, and Henry Kapono Entertainment.
