From its humble beginnings to its status as one of Hawaii’s premier ethnic festivals, the Annual Okinawan Festival is a big deal.

Attracting more than 50,000 visitors from across the globe, the event showcases the Okinawan culture.

Cultural performances include Bon and lion dancing, featuring Okinawan clown-like chondara. Of course, there will be plenty of delicious traditional delicacies, such as andagi (Okinawan doughnut) and andadog (Okinawan corndog).
